On May 4, 2025, at the AIDA Mabini Depth Quest Season 2 in the Philippines, Sanda Delija of Croatia reached a depth of 103 metres in Free Immersion (FIM) - setting a new AIDA Women’s World Record, pending standard doping test results.

This record is a story of persistence as much as performance. Delija had attempted this depth on multiple occasions in both 2023 and 2024, coming close on each attempt, but the dive remained just out of reach. Over two seasons, the goal remained the same - and so did her determination.

This time, everything came together.

Delija completed the dive with precision and composure. She surfaced confidently and delivered a clean surface protocol, meeting all criteria for a successful performance and finally securing the record.

Her achievement marks the deepest Free Immersion dive by a female athlete under AIDA rules and sets a new benchmark in the discipline.

AIDA congratulates Sanda Delija on her record-setting performance and the perseverance it took to reach it.
