After eight days of events, the AIDA Depth World Championship Roatan 2022 has come to a successful close.

Throughout the competition, the weather remained sunny and clear, allowing the athletes to compete at their best in optimum conditions.

The highlight of the competition was the setting of a new AIDA World Record by Marianna Gillespie (FRA) in Constant Weight Bifins (CWTB) with a 97-meter dive.

Seven total new AIDA Continental Records were set by Enchante Gallardo (USA), Natalie Rudman (ZAF), Walid Boudhiaf (TUN) and Alejandro Llinas (COL), in addition to twenty new AIDA National Records.

Athletes Jennifer Wendland (DEU) and Abdelatif Alouach (FRA) earned the most combined points from all four disciplines to receive the Natalia Molchanova Award and be named the overall winners of the 29th AIDA World Championship.
