Please note that your registration is only considered complete once the participation fee has been received by AIDA Deutschland e.V. and all required documents have been uploaded to the AIDA International event page.There are 32 start slots available per day. Once all slots are filled, a waiting list will be opened. Should a registered athlete cancel, the next person on the waiting list will be contacted and offered the slot.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event with short notice. In this case, all paid fees will be fully refunded.

Please upload the following document to the AIDA International website prior to the competition:
Medical certificate (issued within the last 12 months, regardless of longer validity stated on the form)
The following documents must be presented during on-site registration:
- Valid passport or national ID
- Medical self-declaration (only the last page)
- For non-members of AIDA Germany: GDPR consent form
- For athletes under 18 years of age: parental consent form
Important:
Participants who fail to provide all required documents by the start of the competition will be disqualified without compensation.
Competition Format & Disciplines
Participants can freely choose 1 discipline per day, with a maximum of 2 competition starts (one on Saturday, one on Sunday). The following depth disciplines are available:
CWT (Constant Weight with Monofin)
CWTB (Constant Weight with Bi-Fins)
FIM (Free Immersion)
CNF (Constant Weight without Fins)
For the overall ranking, only the best result per athlete (across both days) is counted. Disciplines are weighted to reflect their relative difficulty:
CNF = x1.0
CWTB = x0.9
FIM = x0.8
CWT = x0.7
Example: 30 m CNF = 30 points | 50 m FIM = 45 points → Total = 75 points in the overall ranking
Note: This internal scoring system is used for prize awards and is not reflected in the AIDA International ranking.

Overall Ranking (Top 3 male / female)
Newcomer Overall Ranking (1st place male / female)
To qualify as a Newcomer, athletes must not have participated in any previous AIDA depth competition. Declaration must be made on-site during check-in.

The competition will be held on Saturday, 30 August and Sunday, 31 August 2025
First OT: ~09:00 | Last OT: ~15:10 (subject to number of athletes)
Diving order: shallow → deep → shallow
Warm-up buoys available from 45 minutes before OT
Athletes must check in at least 60 minutes before their OT each day
📩 Announced Performances (AP)
AP for Saturday must be submitted on site on Friday, 25th July at 15:30
AP for Sunday must be submitted on-site by Saturday, 26th July at 16:00
APs must not exceed +5 meters of the athlete’s PB, as confirmed in the Competition Form
🔒 Limited to 35 start slots – a waiting list will be opened if fully booked.

Safety Qualifications:
The safety team consists of certified freediving instructors and experienced safety freedivers
Safety plan:
A diving medical doctor will be present throughout the event and emergency oxygen will be available on site. Rescue boats are ready to ensure rapid evacuation of athletes if necessary.
Due to the layout of the venue, evacuation routes to land are short and efficient. The local emergency services have been informed about the competition, and a clearly defined medical handover point has been coordinated in advance.
