Safety Qualifications:
Safety team will be comprised of experienced AIDA Depth Competition Safety certified safety divers who have trained in solo and team rescues from 25 meters and operation of a counterballast.
Our medic is an ER doctor who has experience at competitions such as Blue Element and Vertical Blue; is experienced in dealing with dive issues such as DCS, lung barotrauma and hypoxic black out; and has equipment including AED, electronic suction device, bag valve mask and 100% oxygen

Safety plan:
In the event of an incident occurring that cannot be dealt with by the safety team on location, evacuation will take place and the victim will first be transported to the entry point on shore and then transported by vehicle to the ER at UC Davis located approximately 30 mins away. In the event of DCS the nearest DAN approved Hyperbaric chamber is located at Travis Air Force Base.
