Safety Qualifications:
The competition will be held on a boat platform with an above water counterballast.
Divers will be observed using a sonar system.
The safety team will have been trained by myself (head of safety of 2016 AIDA world champs, Ex member of the AIDA safety committee, head of safety for 2 x Greek nationals, 4 x Med Cups, 1 x Team World Championships, 3 x Dahab championships).
The safety team will have already had 2.5 months experience on the competition setup.
The Medic is a trained and active first responder.
We will always have an emergency evacuation boat on hand.

All members of the safety team will be trained in rescues, lifting the diver onto the platform and assisting the medic.
We will have a trained first responder on the dive platform with med kit and emergency O2.
The local clinic will be informed of the competition and have an ambulance standing by.
Serious emergencies will require evacuation to the nearest hospital (La Paz).
People suffering from DCS will require evacuation to Cabo San Lucas where the nearest decompression chamber is.
