Safety Qualifications:
The majority of the safety team will be comprised of people with competition safety experience. They, including the rest, will have at least a single training session entirely dedicated to competition safety. All safeties will either be freedivers themselves or certified rescue swimmers.
Safety plan:
Experienced safety team with dedicated competition training before the event. Medic is an ICU Nurse with qualifications in intensive care and anesthetics and has been medic in several freediving competitions before. The medical system in Austria is excellent, emergency transport can reach the pool in a few minutes and the nearest hospital is 3 kilometers away.
