Safety Qualifications:
For static part, there will be one safety freediver per competition zone; and 2 safety freedivers will be in the warm-up zone;
For dynamic part of competitions, as the pool is 25 meters there will be 2 safety freediver per competition zone in rotation.; and 2 safety freedivers will be in the warm-up zone;
All safety freediver are trained specifically for their role and 2 have current CPR, First Aid and BSAC Oxygen Administration.

Safety plan:
There will be ambulance on stand by at the facility during entire duration of the event.
Ambulance personnel are DCAS EMS staff that are trained and qualify in the field of emergency Medicine.
EMS staff will be located next to the pool with following equipment:
- Pulse oximeter,
- Stethoscope,
- Pocket mask, required for training and available in the competition zones.
- Emergency O2,
- Masks for O2,
- Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
The venue also has Medical Rooms Emergency clinic on first floor and 1 First aid room on each level.
