Safety Qualifications:
All safeties are either 4* or Instructor level and have undergone the competition safety course as well as current first aid.
All safetied will have practice training within the 2-4 weeks prior to the event with proven rescues from 30m.
A head of safety will be assigned closer to the event time.

The National Dive and Activity Centre has a good safety plan and response time already.
We will have a full time medic on the platform to deal with immediate issues.
Paramedic and ambulance response times to the water are up to 15 mins and depending on severity of the incident the Air Ambulance response time can be up to 10 mins. Closest hyperbaric chamber is via Air Ambulance to Plymouth
