Safety Qualifications:
The safety team is comprised of divers with either their 4* or Instructor Certification. They will all be going through competition training in the weeks before the event.
The training will conclude the rescues from 25m - 30m as well as a full review of all competition standards required.
Safety plan:
The National Dive and Activity Centre has a good safety plan and response time already.
We will have a full time medic on the platform to deal with immediate issues.
Paramedic and ambulance response times to the water are up to 15 mins and depending on severity of the incident the Air Ambulance response time can be up to 10 mins.
